Back in June last year, two of the UK’s major bodies involved in baby swimming teaching, STA and Birthlight, announced the launch of a new Level 3 Diploma in Aquatic Teaching – Baby and Pre-School. The new diploma takes teaching baby and pre-school swimming to the next level, allowing teachers to enhance their already extensive knowledge. The syllabus truly focuses on the well-being of the baby and pre-school child to aid a confident, enjoyable and independent swimming ability. Its development is the work of a group of several top UK baby swimming experts including Puddle Ducks Technical Director, Ali Beckman.
We were very excited to host the first of these training sessions here at Aqua Nurture last month and even more excited that our very own Head of Teaching, the lovely Claire, took part and will be bringing such valuable knowledge back to Puddle Ducks Greater Manchester and our customers.
