What age can babies start swimming lessons?

What age can babies start swimming lessons?

Such an important and frequent question we get asked, it's never too early or too late to start!

Our warm pools are ready for your baby to start today! We recommend that the umbilical cord has dropped off, but aside from that your baby will enjoy being in the water as a newborn. They don’t need to have had any of their jabs.

Many of our customers start their lessons with us as an activity to enjoy on their maternity or paternity leave but what they then tell us is that they are actually starting a journey of enjoying the water for life with their child. The enjoyment and fun they have together as well as the pride and satisfaction as you watch your little one conquer new milestones in the water means the majority of customers continue to fit swimming into part time working schedules or at the weekend. “I love teaching the children to swim in the water, but I actually get as much pleasure watching the adults faces as the children engage in the activities in the pool” said Mandy one of our swimming teachers.
